Steady Stream

March looks pretty good -
God of War III AND FFXIII, those are 2 VERY big titles we would usually see in the traditional Nov window.

I am really looking forward to Final Fantasy...Mass Effect wasn't able to hold me and Fallout 3 was too slow and I lost interest. I know Mass Effect 2 is making waves but the first game was so boring gameplay-wise that it turned me off of the whole series; especially since it is so story driven I would have to play thru the first one to fully enjoy the 2nd one - and I don't have that kind of time. Final Fantasly looks like it can provide that epic journey type game that I have been craving - I always thought that the series' strength was its ability to provide a true escapism. This being the first foray into the next-gen consoles should be truly epic and enjoyable.

If FF is the gaming equivalent of Lord of the Rings, God of War is 300 - a brutal action movie that does what its supposed to do and does it well. Played the demo and it should quench my thirst for a good hack/slash action game.

Nintendo announced that in June we will see Metroid:Other M...Super Metroid is my favorite game ever made and in some ways is the perfect fusion of story (Final Fantasy) and action (GoW). It's great to see that we don't have to wait until the 4th quarter to play quality titles.
