Both the PS4 and the XB1 CANNOT play 3D Blu-Rays, both the PS4 and the XB1 cannot play media from an external hard drive, The XB1 couldn’t play Blu-Ray movies out of the box because it needs to do an update and then you need to download the Blu-Ray player app…and even after all that, the XB1 does not play BD-R movies.
Gamers should EVENTUALLY get these features back…slowly, thru either PSN or XBL.
